Full itinerary
Day 1: Siem Reap, Cambodia
Upon arrival in Siem Reap, a gateway city to Angkor. The guide will lead you to the hotel of outstanding Khmer style, right on the bank of Siem Reap River.
Days 2-3: Angkor, Siem Reap
Be the early bird to watch the sunrise over Angkor Wat, dating back to the 12th century Khmer temple and it is the largest religious monument. Hop on a tuk-tuk or a motorized rickshaw to get to the walled city of Angkor Thom. Delve in the shrines of Ta Prohm and the Banteay Srei. Relish in the traditional Cambodian music & dance while savoring dinner at one of the famous Temples in Angkor. Take a visit to a workshop where the young are trained in age-old Khmer arts.
Day 4: Kampong Cham
After breakfast, transfer to the bustling town of Kampong Cham, then embark on your stunning
Day 5: Wat Hanchey or Koh Dach | Angkor Ban
Today we visit a lot of temples in Wat Hanchey such as a temple dating back to the 8th century, and witness the silk weaving village of Koh Dach. After that, visit the village of Angkor Ban and witness their traditional houses and friendly local people.
Day 6: Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Tralach
After a breakfast on boat, head to a village where is home to many traditional pottery products, and experience on the local boats to witness the clustered houses and shops floating in the midstream. Arrive in Kampong Tralach, ride an oxcart through the rice paddies to get a local school.
Day 7: Phnom Penh
Our today highlight is the heart of Cambodian, city of Phnom Penh with some attractions as the Royal Palace, National Museum of Cambodia, then head to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum to learn more about the reign of Khmer Rouge.
In the evening, let’s enjoy an apsara dance performed by the locals.
Day 8: Cruising the Mekong
Indulge in the views of daily life along the river, join in a cooking demonstration with local chefs to learn how to cook the regional meals while the Jahan cross the border into the S-shape country, Vietnam.
Day 9: Chau Doc or Tan Chau, Vietnam
Chau Doc is a bustling place with a lot of interesting markets, an astonishing variety of tropical fruits, and other regional foods. Continue the trip to a floating market with a visit to the river and a fish farm. In the afternoon, continue the trip along many sites in Mekong river.
Day 10: Sadec – Cai Be
Jump in a local boat to undergo the rural life in the Mekong Delta, witness the Cai Be Floating Market, and take a stop at a rice factory to explain why the rice-based candies are made. Then cruise among floating markets and fish farms. In the evening, there has a farewell dinner aboard the Jahan.
Day 11: My Tho – Saigon
Today we say goodbye to the Jahan, then head to Vinh Trang Pagoda. On the journey to Ho Chi Minh City (the later name is Saigon), the guide will help you in checking into the hotel. Have an appointment with a local expert and have a private dinner at the former residence of U.S. ambassador Henry Cabot Lodge Jr.
Day 12: Saigon
Hop on a city tour to visit the top highlight of Ho Chi Minh City, consisting of the Reunification Palace, the headquarters of the South Vietnam Government during the War. We then visit Cu Chi tunnels, the iron land of Vietnam. The tunnel truly is a historical relic and brings many educational values.
Day 13: Saigon – Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, you are free until the driver comes and transfers you to the airport for the flight back.
