Day 1: Arrival Luang Prabang – Embark on Mekong Sun Cruise
Welcome to Luang Prabang – Laos. You will be moving to hotel for short relaxing until our tour guide and driver will take you to embark on Mekong Sun Cruise. Check-in cruise at 2 PM then you will start your downstream journey in a majestic cruise. Enjoy your delicious welcome dinner is prepared by our wonderful chef.

Day 2: Luang Prabang – Explore Kuang Si (B, L, D)
After your breakfast, your cruise will arrive Kuang Si Waterfall – one of the most wonderful sites in Laos. The water here is green all year round. This color is very rare due to the large algae brought from upstream. Continuing to the south of mighty Mekong, you will expedite and almost forgotten Buddha cave. In here, you will completely forget a crowded living and feel the simplicity of nature on hiking trails and sandbank.

Day 3: Passing by Tha Deua (B, L, D)
Today, your cruise will pass Xayaburi–dam. In Laos, this is the largest construction project. You will enjoy the stunning view and possible witness local fishermen along the shore. At that time, our tour guide on the cruise will introduce the history and culture that you are free to join or relax on deck.

Day 4: Continuing on Tha Deua (B, L, D)
While having breakfast at a restaurant, you can enjoy the local living of fishermen along the banks. On the deck, our tour guide is ready to provide more knowledge about the history and culture that you are free to join or relax on deck.

Day 5: Visiting Pak Lay (B, L, D)
On the way to downstream, you will have a chance to visit the small riverside community of Pak Lay. It is also known as a town once possessing a lot of colonial buildings. The beautiful natural landscape is only broken by a few small villages and local herds of cattle.

Day 6: Vientiane – City Tour (B)
Today, Mekong Sun Cruise will head towards Vientiane, the capital of Laos. On arrival, saying goodbye to your crew. Our tour guide will welcome you again then we will transfer back to the city center and keep on your journey.
First of all, you will visit the city’s oldest temple here means Wat Sisaket. Go inside, you will observe countless of images made by silver and porcelain. After that, you will stop to visit Haw Phra Kaeo – the gorgeous temple both interior and exterior. In the courtyards of the temple, there is a famed Emerald Buddha with a frangipani tree around. Then, you have free time at the Morning market before heading to visit Pha That Luang. The last place today is climbing to Patuxai as known as the Arc De Triomphe of Laos.

Day 7: Vientiane – Fly to Pakse – Wat Phou Ruins (B)
After breakfast, we will take the transfer to the airport for your flight to Pakse.
Upon arrival transfer to Champasak town, home to Wat Phou ruins. Until the 1860s, Champasak was the major town of southern Laos, however, French-built Pakse eventually replaced it as the area’s commercial hub. Nearby Wat Phou which was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage temple in 2001. This ancient complex is remaining the most mysterious and unknown kingdoms in Southeast Asia.
Back to Pakse town and explore Phou Salao one of the best places to see an awesome sunset wide view in Pakse.

Day 8: Pakse – Bolaven Plateau – Done Khong (B)
Having breakfast at hotel, our tour guide and driver will take you to explore the attractive Bolaven Plateau. The Bolaven Plateau, which was a volcano originally, is taking a huge part in agricultural products including coffee and tea. Especially, there have some tribal villages, which are following Stone Age culture. Their agriculture tools are completely primitive and conduct frequent spiritual ceremonies. If time permits, you will visit some appealing waterfall: Tad Yuang, Tad Fane. In the afternoon, we will visit the Tribal Villages Museum. This museum will show you the tribal vernacular architecture and life in Southern Laos.

Day 9: 4000 Island Surrounding – Pakse (B)
In the morning, you will check out the room then head to Don Khone by long-tail boat. On arrival, you will take tuk-tuk to explore the remains of the sole railway. This railway was built by French a long time ago. After that, we will come back to the pier where our driver is waiting to transfer to Khonephapheng Fall – the most ravishing and largest fall in Southeast Asia.
