Begin in Ho Chi Minh City, where echoes of French colonial influence still linger, and travel through the heart of Vietnam and Cambodia. Sail toward Phnom Penh and onward to the serene waters of the Tonle Sap River, retracing the steps of explorer Henri Mouhot. Day 1: Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City

Your adventure begins with a guided tour of Ho Chi Minh City. You’ll discover its dynamic energy as you explore bustling local markets and visit the historic Thien Hau Temple, a beautiful example of Chinese architecture in the heart of the city.

Later in the day, you’ll be transferred to your cruise ship. After settling comfortably into your cabin, you’ll be invited to a welcome cocktail where the crew will introduce themselves. Spend your first night on board, relaxing and preparing for the journey ahead.

Day 2: War History Exploration and River Cruising

This morning, you’ll venture outside the city to explore the Cu Chi Tunnels. These underground passages were used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War and offer a powerful insight into the country's turbulent history.

In the afternoon, you'll visit the Museum of Vietnamese History, home to a remarkable collection of artifacts. Back on board, the ship begins cruising toward the picturesque Cho Gao Canal. You'll enjoy a peaceful night on the river.

Day 3: Life Along the Mekong - My Tho to Cai Be

Today, the ship sails through the Cho Gao Canal, offering views of lush vegetation and river life. Your first stop is a bee farm, where you’ll enjoy a sweet tasting experience and learn about local beekeeping practices.

Later, you'll take a sampan ride through narrow canals lined with tropical greenery. You'll also visit a traditional workshop to see how rice paper, puffed rice, and rice alcohol are made. The ship continues cruising while you unwind on board for the night.

Day 4: Strolling Through Colonial Sa Dec

Your journey takes you to the charming town of Sa Dec, known for its colonial architecture and literary history. You’ll visit the former home of Huynh Thuy Le, famously featured in Marguerite Duras’ novel The Lover.

Afterward, enjoy free time to explore the colorful local market or take a leisurely walk along the tree-lined streets. As the afternoon unfolds, the ship sets sail toward the Cambodian border. You'll spend the night aboard the ship.

Day 5: Cultural Crossroads - Chau Doc to Phnom Penh

In the morning, you'll arrive in Chau Doc and visit the Tay An Pagoda and the Ba Chua Xu Temple. These sacred sites provide insight into the region’s spiritual traditions and cultural diversity.

Later in the day, the ship cruises toward Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. In the evening, enjoy a tuk-tuk ride through the lively streets as you get your first glimpse of this fascinating city. You'll stay overnight on the ship.

Day 6: The Heart of Cambodia - Exploring Phnom Penh

Today is dedicated to a full-day exploration of Phnom Penh’s rich heritage. You'll visit the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, both architectural treasures, followed by the National Museum, home to ancient Khmer artifacts.

In the afternoon, the journey takes a more reflective turn at Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, a former Khmer Rouge prison. Returning to the ship, you'll enjoy a performance of traditional Khmer dance and music before a relaxing evening onboard.

Day 7: Silver Craft and Pagodas

Your morning begins with a visit to Koh Chen, a village known for its skilled artisans who create intricate silver and copper handicrafts. You’ll have the chance to observe their techniques and explore their workshops.

Next, the ship continues to Kampong Tralach, where you’ll visit Wat Kampong Tralach Leu, an ancient pagoda nestled amid peaceful rice fields. After this cultural immersion, you’ll return to the ship for another restful evening.

Day 8: Kampong Chhnang and the Tonle Sap River

Today you’ll explore Kampong Chhnang, a lively riverside town famous for its pottery and floating villages. You’ll enjoy a tasting experience that introduces you to local flavors and traditions.

Afterward, the ship continues its journey along the Tonle Sap River. Spend the rest of the day taking in the scenery and enjoying the relaxed rhythm of life onboard. You’ll spend the night on the ship.

Day 9: Arrival in Siem Reap and Angkor Discovery

After disembarking, you’ll travel by road to Siem Reap, passing through traditional villages along the way. Alternatively, you may enjoy a morning cruise across Tonle Sap Lake before reaching your destination.

In the afternoon, begin your discovery of the Angkor complex with a visit to the magnificent Angkor Wat temple. In the evening, take a leisurely walk through the vibrant Angkor Night Market. You'll spend the night in a comfortable hotel.

Day 10: Floating Villages and Cambodian Artistry

Begin the day with a boat trip on Tonlé Lake to explore its floating villages and experience the unique lifestyle of the locals. After lunch, you’ll visit Senteurs d’Angkor, a local workshop producing handmade beauty products, spices, and crafts.

In the evening, enjoy a captivating performance by Phare, the Cambodian Circus—a modern blend of traditional stories and acrobatics. You’ll return to your hotel for another overnight stay in Siem Reap.

Day 11: Final Wonders of Angkor and Farewell

Your final morning includes a guided visit to Ta Prohm, the jungle-covered temple made famous by Tomb Raider. You’ll also explore Angkor Thom, the ancient royal city, including the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King.
