Day 1: Hanoi Arrival - City Tour

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by our local guide and driver and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a half-day city tour of Hanoi, visiting the Temple of Literature, Women’s Museum, Hoa Lo Prison, and the Museum of Ethnology. Discover the city’s rich heritage and unique architectural blend of traditional Vietnamese and French colonial influences.

Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Lan Ha Bay Cruise

After breakfast, depart Hanoi for Hai Phong and board a luxury cruise to explore Lan Ha Bay, part of the greater Halong Bay area. Enjoy a welcome briefing, followed by a seafood lunch as the cruise sails past Da Chong Islet. In the afternoon, kayak or swim in the crystal-clear waters near Ba Trai Dao Beach.

Evening activities include a Vietnamese cooking class, happy hour, a gourmet dinner, and optional onboard experiences like squid fishing or spa treatments.

Day 3: Viet Hai Village – Ba Ham Lake

Begin your day with Tai Chi on the sundeck, followed by breakfast. Take a day boat to Viet Hai Village, where you’ll enjoy a scenic bicycle ride through lush forest trails and rice fields. Visit a traditional house to gain insight into rural Vietnamese life.

After lunch on the day boat, spend the afternoon kayaking or swimming in the secluded Ba Ham Lake area (weather permitting). Return to the main cruise ship for sunset views, another cooking demo, and a delightful dinner.

Day 4: Lan Ha Bay – Ho Chi Minh City

Enjoy a peaceful morning with Tai Chi and a light breakfast as the boat cruises toward the mainland. Explore the Dark & Bright Cave via a traditional rowing boat before returning to the cruise for check-out and brunch.

You’ll be transferred back to Hanoi for a domestic flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, a local guide will transfer you to your hotel. The evening is yours to explore the vibrant city.

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh City Tour – Board RV Indochine II

Spend the morning at leisure. In the afternoon, discover Ho Chi Minh City’s colonial charm with a guided visit to the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Central Post Office.

Later, board the luxurious RV Indochine II for your Mekong River journey. Enjoy a welcome cocktail and dinner onboard.

Day 6: Ho Chi Minh City – Cho Lon – Cho Gao Canal

After breakfast onboard, we head to Cho Lon – Ho Chi Minh City’s bustling Chinatown district. Discover the vibrant local life and explore the colorful Binh Tay Market and the Thien Hau Pagoda, dedicated to the Sea Goddess.

Return to the ship for lunch before visiting the National History Museum and a traditional lacquerware workshop. In the late afternoon, we resume our cruise towards the Cho Gao navigation channel.

Day 7: Cho Gao – My Tho – Vinh Long – Cai Be – Sa Dec

This morning, cruise through the picturesque Cho Gao Canal to the town of My Tho. Hop on a small boat to explore the maze of canals and visit lush islets dotted with coconut and fruit orchards. Witness local artisans at work.

Return to the ship for lunch, then continue the cruise to Vinh Long and Cai Be. Take a small boat through the arroyos and visit Cai Be’s charming colonial church. Along the way, discover riverside villages, stilt houses, and boats brimming with fresh produce.

Day 8: Sa Dec – Chau Doc

In the early morning, visit Sa Dec, once known as the "Garden of Cochin Chine." Explore the local market and colonial mansions, including the former home of Huynh Thuy Le—lover of French novelist Marguerite Duras.

Return to the ship for breakfast and cruise to Chau Doc. Enjoy lunch onboard as you pass through a vast landscape of rice paddies. In Chau Doc, visit floating fish farms and a Cham ethnic minority weaving village by small boat.

Day 9: Chau Doc – Cambodian Border – Phnom Penh

Today is a relaxing cruising day. After breakfast, we complete border formalities at the Vietnam–Cambodia border and continue our journey upstream on the Mekong.

Enjoy lunch and dinner onboard before arriving in Phnom Penh in the late afternoon. In the evening, experience a local tuk-tuk ride to explore the city's vibrant nighttime charm.

Day 10: Phnom Penh Sightseeing

Spend the day discovering Phnom Penh’s rich history and culture. Visit the Royal Palace and the famous Silver Pagoda, then explore the National Museum showcasing Khmer art and history.

After lunch at a local restaurant, you may opt to visit the haunting Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21). Later, browse the Central Market for souvenirs and local snacks.

In the evening, enjoy a traditional Apsara dance performance onboard.

Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 11: Koh Chen – Kampong Tralach – Kampong Chhnang

This morning, visit Koh Chen, a village known for silver and copper artisans. Meet local craftsmen and visit a local school.

Continue cruising to Kampong Tralach. Travel by ox cart through scenic rice paddies to reach the ancient Wat Kampong Tralach Leu Pagoda, known for its fading yet beautiful wall murals.

Day 12: Kampong Chhnang – Tonle Sap Lake

After breakfast, explore Kampong Chhnang, one of Cambodia’s largest fishing ports. Visit a traditional pottery village and taste palm sugar from local groves. Later, take a boat through a fascinating floating village where schools, shops, and homes rest on water.

Return onboard for lunch and cruise across Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. In the evening, enjoy a farewell cocktail and gala dinner.

Day 13: Disembark Cruise – Siem Reap

After breakfast, we cruise toward Siem Reap. Disembark around noon and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to relax or explore the town at your own pace.

Day 14: Angkor Temple Exploration

Begin the day by exploring Angkor Thom’s Southern Gate, the Bayon Temple, Baphuon, Phimeanakas, and the Elephant & Leper King Terraces.

After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the tree-covered Ta Prohm Temple and the iconic Angkor Wat. End your day with a panoramic sunset from Bakheng Hill.

Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 15: Departure

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before transferring to Siem Reap Airport for your return flight.
