On the way to downstream, you will have a chance to visit the small riverside community of Pak Lay. It is also known as a town once possessing a lot of colonial buildings. Today, Mekong Sun Cruise will head towards Vientiane, the capital of Laos. On arrival, saying goodbye to your crew. After breakfast, we will take the transfer to the airport for your flight to Pakse. Upon arrival transfer to Champasak town, home to Wat Phou ruins. Until the 1860s, Champasak was the major town of southern Laos, however, French-built Pakse eventually replaced it as the area’s commercial hub. Nearby Wat Phou which was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage temple in 2001. This ancient complex is remaining the most mysterious and unknown kingdoms in Southeast Asia. Having breakfast at hotel, our tour guide and driver will take you to explore the attractive Bolaven Plateau. The Bolaven Plateau, which was a volcano originally, is taking a huge part in agricultural products including coffee and tea. Especially, there have some tribal villages, which are following Stone Age culture. Their agriculture tools are completely primitive and conduct frequent spiritual ceremonies. If time permits, you will visit some appealing waterfall: Tad Yuang, Tad Fane. In the afternoon, we will visit the Tribal Villages Museum. In the morning, you will check out the room then head to Don Khone by long-tail boat. On arrival, you will take tuk-tuk to explore the remains of the sole railway. This railway was built by French a long time ago. After that, we will come back to the pier where our driver is waiting to transfer to Khonephapheng Fall – the most ravishing and largest fall in Southeast Asia.
